My Day as a SAHM (It Only Took One Day) & Prayer Request

He stayed in this jumper for like 30 minutes yesterday while I cooked.. That frog is a lifesaver!

Yesterday was a fun mommy/son day for Timothy and I. Unfortunately, I only snapped one picture. Mainly because of all the fun we were having! But also because my phone never seemed to be with us. The weatherman called for rain on Wednesday (he was actually right!) so I had planned at the beginning of the week, I would make lots of meals on Wednesday, since it is a lot of work to get Timothy out in the rain.

Now, because I had to work late Tuesday, getting groceries was going to be a toughie. BUT, this mommy used good time management skills. I ate lunch while I worked Tuesday. Then, on my lunch hour, I went to the grocery store. My office has a full kitchen including full fridge, so I brought all my perishables inside when I got back.

Brandon and Timothy came to work and had dinner with me at our new restaurant. It’s a pretty cool place. Mix of Panera Bread and a coffee house, but they serve pizza, pastas and salads. It was yummy!! I then went back over to my office finished working late, and went home to my fam.

He sort of looks like he is trying to hug me, but really he is reaching for my hair, he loves pulling on it.

Daddy refused to smile! :(

Yesterday, like I said, was great! I really enjoyed our time together. On days like yesterday, I think I wouldn’t mind being a SAHM. But when he is screaming his head off after I have done everything possible to make him happy, I am happy I am working woman! I think a lot of women think their lives will or would be easier if they were a SAHM, but I have news for you, that is seriously the hardest job EVER. You don’t get to sit on your hiney and watch tv all day. The house, the baby and your spouse, all need you!

I feel like at work, I get a break. Don’t get me wrong, work is tough. Especially, a demanding job like mine. I am out of town a lot, working late a lot, and at times, my job can have some real physical demands that others don’t have. But I love it! I also love that Timothy is socializing and being loved on all day, by some awesome ladies! They love my baby like their own! On top of that, Tbird is a social butterfly, he LOVES other bebes!

So, My moral of this story, I really admire my SAHM girls out there! You ladies ROCK! There are days like yesterday, when I really envy you too, but for the most part—it’s just admiration!
